The Hotel Palazzina Grassi, designed by Philippe Starck, is located in the heart of Venice on the Grand Canal. Philippe Starck (one of my favorite interior and product designers) did a masterful job of turning this old 16th century building into a beautiful, modern space that showcases the successful marriage of ancient and contemporary.
The gorgeous architectural details are preserved in the windows and ceiling beams and then contrasted with sleek, modern furniture.
I love all of the stark white and mirrored surfaces, it adds a sense of glamour and mystery. The stainless chairs are beautiful and designed by Starck himself.
