I would love to have the opportunity to visit Turkey someday, particularly Istanbul. This city has the most amazing history (which begins somewhere around 660 BC), having previously served as the capital of the Roman, Byzantine, Latin, and Ottoman Empires. Due to its rich history and culture, Istanbul has some of the most incredible architectural landmarks in the world, including the awe-inspiring Hagia Sophia. If I ever do make it to Istanbul I would love to stay at the House Hotel, a gorgeous boutique hotel that displays a wonderful combination of traditional and contemporary design.
